OUR MISSION
We the 122nd class of Lock and Chain commit to exploring innovative ways to sustain our pillars of leadership, service, and tradition. We strive to stay true to our core values of inclusion and awareness by fostering bonds in our community and with each other.
EVENTS
Lock and Chain organizes a number of events every year for the Washington University community.
Sizzle on the 40 | November 14th
A back-to-school fall fling meant to unite the sophomore class and the WashU community
This party on the swamp is a chance for the sophomore class to get together and have a fun break during the midterm season.
Lock and Chain's biggest event of the year meant to encourage school spirit, build lasting traditions, and foster debate and dialogue about the legacy of our school's namesake.
Philanthrophy and Service
Our commitment to the greater St. Louis
community manifests in many forms
We will donate our remaining inventory of novels from our book sale to The Office of Student Success.
We worked with the Foster and Adoptive Center in continuation of our committed support to them.
In this honorary, we greatly value the extent to which community service has an effect on those around us, within the WashU community and beyond.
